piston lubrication holes

should my 200 have holes drilled in the piston for exhaust lubrication? It doesn't have any as of now

I'm guessing not because there is no exhaust bridge, but I could be wrong.

The Wiseco original piston I took out of my '02 200 had no holes (& virtually no wear) & the Wiseco I put in, the same.
Centre bridges are much harder than triple ports.

85hrs on a 250 that gets revved.

And here I thought my piston was wasted... Lubrication holes?:D

Sorry I have to make lots of jokes at my misfortune or I will go nuts.

Good question. Its on the intake side. How do the reeds look?
You answered his question..... I pulled a rookie move . When I put it together I got in a hurry and installed the stupid thing in backwards. I feel like a moron. I didn't even think to look until I saw the piston you posted next to my piston pic.And to add to the frustration I know better!
Very expensive lesson in paying attention . Cost me a cyl, piston and bottom end kit . Basically I roached a engine because I got in a hurry.

Ouch.. Guessing the ring end gap snagged the exhaust port and hey presto! Instabits.. I feel for you man. Better go have a rum for ya!~

. . . I got in a hurry and installed the stupid thing in backwards. I feel like a moron. . . .

Ha, don't worry, that feeling passes.

......I 'Might' have done the same thing 20 years ago on a small commuter bike ;)

Thanks guys, it was very embarrassing to admit that. After this frustration I think I need to catch a plane and drink a few of those rums with you! After a good ride of coarse. :D

I dont think this feeling is going to pass until my bank account is back were it needs to be. LOL
