Power Valve query

Hi again to all.
I have run into a small problem I hope somebody can help me with. I have taken the cover off the power-valve and yes, as you all suspected the power valve was malfunctioning. I have now reassembled it and started the engine to see it work, and it does.
But upon assembly I noticed were I reattached the alun-screw to the center bearing I first had too align the semi circle washer over the semi-circle shaft on the bearing. In order to do this the bearing had to be turned. And hear lies my question is the bearing "timed" in anyway ie. should it be turned clock-wise or anti-clock-wise, or does it have to be turned several times or does it not matter.
The reason for my concern is that when ridden the bike now feels a little better but no vast improvements.
I would be very appreciative to any information.
Cheers Clark:eek:

Look here on this image. Did you check the grub screw (arrow number 3 in pic) ?. I have come across these being loose casuing the power valve to operate very poorly.

Your bike should rip.
