I've been looking at that bike myself. I live in Mobile and know it's a great deal. It truly is like new and hardly been ridden. If I can sell my 04 300EC, I'm gonna buy it.

My 04 is is great shape mechanically. It's been ridden in the woods all it's life and looks it, but it has about five rides on the chain and sprockets and I rode yesterday with brand new S12 XCs and rear brake pads for the first time. Anywhere near $1,500 takes it and I'll be on the one Jack is selling. You will not be dissapointed with either bike.

Here are the two most recent photos. These were taken in August.

Since then I have put on new S12XC front and rear (one ride), and EBC rear pads. It had new Sprocket Specialist sprockets and DID o ring chain put on it for the ride shown. I've ridden it once in Desoto NF, once in North Georgia, and once in Theodore, Al since these photos were taken. No new damage.
I'll take some shots when it quits raining here in Mobile.
I'll keep the big tank, skid plate, and damper for the 08. The bark busters will stay on. Head light, tail light, and brake light (LED) work. It's a DE with the high compression head. Runs great and everything is in good riding order.

I appreciate Matt protecting my post, but after knocking out Hudson_Hollow selling his 2004 EC300 for $1450, he advertised his own 07 EC250 for sale under his name - what's the difference?

No worries here - I undeleted the threads in question.

I really try not to edit anything unless it explicitly violates the user agreement. For example, abusive towards others, attacks a person versus an idea, gross spamming, etc...

Thanks, Jack. The sell of my bike would mean the sell of your bike as you already know. If you sell the '08, then I will just have to come up with the money for a '10.
