Looking good:D Happy to see I picked the right size Tshirt..
And Again, Thanks to you, for all your help with the trials engine, Just love riding that bike.

The El Diablo is almost alive...
Really like the looks of those forks and brakes, and it's going to look so trick with the new red talon sprocket..

+ That thing is gonna pull like a tractor with that jetting kit and the Powervalve cover:eek:

That thing is really coming together!... I'm torn as I should be working on my 97,,,, but I have thoughts of selling her too.. really want a 250f gas gas and a 11 250 as the 12's are a bit tall for me. This winter will be the key.. If its still here it will get a full ground up rebuild.. I think I'm going to go ride it around the yard today..

Good Guess on the T shirt,

yes it is almost alive i've had it started up it felt soooooo good to hear that noise and the smell, of course my wife didn't like either :D

that powervalve cover is awesome , and I like the idea of it "pulling like a tractor" but I hope the porting mods I did will give some mid/top end as well.

Yeah I like the sprocket too shame I didn't get any freebie Talon stickers that I could have stuck on the swingarm instead I was given some freebie renthal ones

Im glad i picked the colours I have but Im not sure how long that paint will stay on

It is nearly done now just need a new headlight to match the new plastics and a new brake pedal.
Sadly the rad scoops I have are a totally different red to the new 'UFO' honda red so I'll have to have them painted :( then I can apply the graphics and stickers ;)

Why sell it just rebuild it's much more rewarding experience knowing that you did it, getting your hands dirty and doing it yourself.

97's need love too ... she may look a bit tired and worn out but an extreme makeover will soon fix that and take 15 off her life

I hear you,, I just have too many coals in the fire as they say. I'll most likely fix her up. She has been mine, or I hers since 99/00 as I can't remember when I actually got her. I know I traded my 98 Ktm 300 exc for her. I really need a bigger garage and a bigger wallet. I'd like to get a couple new bikes. Could really use a bigger ds bike for running the roads and the more street type ds events. Also a new 2 stroke if I want to race again. But this old girl has a special place.

Finally Finished

Well It's a great day today here is my project 'El Diablo'
My 1998 EC250 Six Days Model that I have Re-worked over a years time, blood sweat & tears (not mine) have gone into this bike.

And lots of cans of lager as well

Number '29' represents my daughters birthday who was born 2 months before I bought this bike and I wanted her to be with me when I go for a blast.

I love bikes and just wanted to do that 'Man Thing' tinkering around in the garage enjoying what I have in life, it's not the best newest model on the block, but to me it represents happy days.

BIG thanks to HenrikSchmidt & Cruiser

Now next weekend I hope that it rains in england cos im gonna get it sooooo dirty, that what it was made for and thats what I bought it for.
