IMO yes they would be worth it. Proper squish is important to the efficiency and power of any bike and unless the 'wing' is in the new carbs, they'll benefit from that also. As to work that Ron does on the earlier pilot circuits, he'll have to answer that
I sent my 11 Six Days head and carb to RB...but weather won't coperate. Started to go this past Sunday and an oil line burst on my van engine and left me stranded...bummer. This weekend is looking suckey also.
The carb mods are worth it. He modifies the airscrew circuit and puts a knurled knob on it so so you can adjust it with your fingers. Small adjustments make a big difference too.
I had the head mods done on my 2010 XC250 to bring squish into a reasonable value. The bike started, idled, and ran fantastic - no fouling, no stalling, just fantastic. Time and money well spent in my book.
