Where would i find the best spring? I am looking for one that I will use trail riding. I will never use it for freestyle or massive jumping.... I have heard of a pds spring that works well for trail riding they are a progressive spring. I’m told, but not sure where to get on or if it will work on my 03 GG300? HELP
Thanks.
Lee,

The best spring is the one matched to your weight, Ohlins or equiv. What do you weigh?

PDS springs are completely different.

Your probably looking at a 5.6 +, and .46 fork springs. Revalve as well with that much of a change.

Glen?

Where is the best (cheapest) place to buy Ohlins springs? I have a 9.1 on the KTM shock and would like to try something around 8.5?

GG Ohlins are easy to get, Ohlins PDS are a little tougher. For my Cannondale, I got a 9.5 and a 9.0 directly from Ohlins USA in NC. Again, ask for Jerry. Price was on par with others. Cannondale Ohlins PDS had no option other than Ohlins springs, I have no idea concerning KTM Ohlins.

My neighbor may have what I need sitting on his shelf. Takes a 250mm spring. Thanks for the info though.

We have Ohlins springs for all Ohlins suspension including KTM's.

Harry had one I think is softer so I'll at least put it on and measure the sag. Will give me/you a better reference anyway. It is a 230mm spring for the TTX shock. Will be easier to get on too, no compressor needed for it!

Shock I bought came with a 580-29-90-209 on it, marked with a Sharpie on end as a 9.1? Harry loaned me a 06320-19/70 L057.
