Hi all,
I'm looking to re-spring my 2005 GasGas EC250. I am 280lbs (127kg) and obviously my bike feels too soft.
Mostly trail / cross country riding BUT I want to be able to go onto a motocross track and not be way too soft.
What years did Gas Gas keep the same rear suspension geometry?
What other more common bikes have similar rear geometries? I see that most bikes with linkages are in reality pretty similar for recommended spring rates.
What other more common bikes will there springs fit my EC250? (Since I'm guessing its going to be hard to find for my specific bike maybe...)
Looking on Racetech.com at various other models, looks like I should be around .50kg/mm Front and 6.6kg/mm Rear.
Thanks,
Dave
