I am contemplating replacing the stock clutch over on my '18 XC250 with a Rekluse cover. It is rocky as a mother here in AZ and it is just a matter of time before the brake lever makes contact with the cover.
Rekluse claims added clearance and oil capacity with their cover. Any added benefit to these covers, other than durability? Any need to run additional oil volume with this cover? I have read that some people have had clearance issues with these covers in the past. Still an issue?
My other thought is to add a fender washer and JB weld to the area adjacent to the brake lever. This would likely prevent a puncture from the lever tip, but with enough force it may just cause cracking/breakage around a larger area on the cover. Thoughts?
