Rekluse or estart, same price roughly, what would you buy?

I found a tremendous disadvantage on hill climbs not having the bike lock up. You can't always manipulate the throttle to keep the bike stationary or holding. I recall a ride about a month ago with a mountain that took us around 45 minutes to climb and I cringe at the thought of having my rekluse back in again. This isn't everyone though which I understand but after reading the rekluse threads over the last 3 years guys that love it love It and there are some people it just doesn't work for!

Some great information here, thanks. I've owned estart and it's great, I've ridden a Ktm 500 with a rekluse and I was impressed. I think a rekluse is buy and try to really make your mind up. I'll keep pondering.

That's exactly what I did, I bought the exp rekluse and used it for about 6 weeks then took it out and only lost a little on it selling it to mrblah and he loves it!

If it were a 4t estart is a must, 2t not so much. Just more weight and maintance. I had a rekluse in my ktm 530 one thing I learned was if you drop it, shut the engine off before you pick it up or it will take you for a ride when you pick it up and grab a handful of throttle. Also I didn't care for the freewheeling if you don't make a hill. I found myself covering the clutch more then letting it do the work. I think it depends alot on skill level. The best bang for the buck was sorting the suspension out.
