I had to adjust mine almost all the way in. But I like a hard engagement and a notable drop in idle RPM when I drop it into gear, so I didn't have the issue of running out of adjustment.
I've put a few miles on both my GG's with the Rekluse. Sounds like I need to tear mine apart just to see if its been wearing on the cover.
What a poke in the eye....
britshgas: Yes, you will have to adjust the screw out as the clutch pack wears.
I have no idea. I've had it installed for over a year and had no problem getting the engagement set to my liking. I'm just pissed that I have to worry that it may have been eating the inside of the cover all this time.
Having a similar issue as british. When I turn my adjustable slave cylinder in all the way I do not feel any clear engagement from where you have to set the installed gap. I have just double checked the clutch pack and the metal plates and it's all per manual the clutch works when riding but manual override does not work well. The clutch keeps wanting to grab as soon as you rev a little bit even with the clutch lever in. The clutch master / slave is bled well. (Wasn't the case when I got the bike back from the shop)
I had it installed by a shop and I just checked the returned parts and I could not find the stock throughout. How much difference is there between the stock and rekluse throw-out? Mine looks like the picture posted by StuJohnson at the moment I'm thinking of adding a washer to the throw-out hopefully that would get me in a spot where I can properly adjust the installed gap. When I check the lever free play it's way to much.
