Rocky mountain atv/mc

Just wanted to share a good experience I had today with RMATVMC. I purchased a Klim Mohave jersey on 4-1-13, finally had the chance to wear it on 4-14-13 washed it the next day and the stitching was coming out of the elastic on the sleeve. Had to send a picture of the jersey to the warranty dept. They called back within just a couple of hours and said they are sending out a replacement and that I did not need to send the defective jersey back. Kudos to RMATVMC I did not expect that. Great customer service.

RMATVMC is the best. They're fully invested in our sport. They do periodic trail maintenance and have even adopted a section of I-70 near the White Wash recreation area and also a section of HWY 191 north of Moab. And as was mentioned, the customer support is top notch. ...If only they sold GasGas stuff.

They do, they just dont realize it or list it as such.

Has anyone found local dealers can compete with RMC on tire prices. I buy the majority of parts and gear local but tires are way off on price. Does a dealer need volume to compete?

Volume helps, but RMATV can go to a distributor with a huge wad of cash and negotiate a tire deal that is beyond the local dealer's reach. It matters a lot if your ordering 5,000 tires at a time vs 3 at a time

What a coincidence...

May not sound like much, but Thursday I received a package with some "extra" fork seals that just happened to fit my bike. I spend a lot of money w/ RMATV, so I got on their online chat box, told them of the mistake, and that I'd be happy to ship them back. They told me to consider them a gift. I have had 1 order take longer than 3 business days and Ive probably made 20 or so orders from them. They are a stand up company. No wonder they are ranked so high by bizrate!

I have been using RMATV for years. I've only had one experience that was on the fence but I can live with one because they have been excellent every other time. I bought a sprocket kit for my wife's TTR125L and the rear didn't fit. They said I had to pay shipping both ways to exchange it. It was a cheap part so I gave it to a friend because shipping again both ways would have meant I had more in shipping than the sprocket was worth.

Ordered a pair of ARC foul weather pants and wore them for the first time at Hatfield McCoy last week. Zippered pocket came apart at the threads. Replaced free of charge and RMATV paid for return shipping of the damaged pants. Need I say more?

I one time went through and sent them an exhaustive list of things they had on their site that would fit particular Huskies (like KTM brake pads, shim kits, fork seals, etc.). I've been happy to see that much of this list has been linked in their catalog so now Husky owners can find stuff on their website easier. Maybe someone that knows the Gas Gas crossover stuff well could send them a list (my Gas Gas knowledge isn't up there yet). They obviously listen, which is very cool.

I ran into Eric (from RMATVMC - he does their videos) in southern Colorado last fall, he was riding with the Colorado 600 (charity ride). They were out showing their support for riding in other states. Anyway he saw my gasser and I mentioned parts for it at RM, and he said to be sure to send him (email) a list of crossover parts for him to review and they would work on listing gasgas parts on their website. I had forgotten about it until now, but like someone mentioned above, I don't know very many crossover parts. He was really supportive and encouraged us to support our local dealers whenever we can. Wow. I told him that I buy everything I can from my local Yamaha shop (stuff they stock), but if they have to order anything for me it takes a week to two weeks. RM has it on my doorstep in two days. Nuff said.
