Routing of throttle cable?

Hi, I have an 08 EC 300 and am having issues with the throttle cable rubbing the side of the digital display of the bike. Every time I turn the bars to the right the cable rubs down the side and is wearing out the liner of the cable.

Can someone please post a pic of how their cable is routed? I tried moving it to the other side of the computer but then the turning action puts tension on the cable causing the bike to rev up. Right now the cable comes up the left side of the computer and over top of it (blocking the view a bit) and then to the throttle. Small problem but I would like to fix it.

THanks,

Mike.

mine is like that as well, i just wrap it in some electrical tape and so far it has not worn through the tape, did the same on my front brake hose as i have previous experience of the guide rubbing through the hose protector

Plastic spiral wrap used for wire harnesses works great for protecting cables and brake lines wherever they can contact something and be prone to vibration damage.
