Stalling on the downhills

For the most part my bike runs great and is jetted to my satisfaction. The idle surges a little bit depending on whether in neutral or in gear. Problem I'm having is stalling when going downhill, clutch handle pulled all the way in...basically coasting. Happens more on very steep descents. I read an earlier post that mentioned a float height adj. Any suggestions on which direction to go and how much adj. to make?

I'll be interested in this too. On my last ride my bike ran great, except at closed throttle. When I did the bike surged like you refer to.

I have not done anything to fix it yet, but I am going to check the fit of my airboot and float height first.

Make sure you are only using 900mls of oil in the gearbox and not 1 liter as the manual says. The clutch behave much better with slightly less oil.
Also make sure you are using the correct oil, check previous thread for some options.
