took my dealer a week to get me a NEDW, just picked it up last night

I ordered a kick start lever and spline drive last week (basically the full assembly) for my 10 EC300. Was told a few days and today am told there are none in Oz and could take up to 4 weeks..... !!!

Sorry that we did not have the parts you needed.
We have placed an order for them with Gas Gas and are waiting for the shipment to arrive.
I hope we will see it early to mid next week.
We do an air freight order for out of stock back orders every 4 weeks.

If your order goes in the day after the order is placed it could take four weeks but if the order is placed the day we sent the order to Gas Gas it could only take a few days. All this depend if Gas Gas Spain have them in stock.
that could be why you were told it will be four weeks.

We normally have both the parts you need in stock but this time we were out of them sorry.
Try your dealer again mid next week to see if they have arrived.

Good form John.. Its keeping us in the loop like this that will keep us with the brand.. Its never fun waiting for parts, but understanding the reason why its taking a while sure makes it easier.

Evo already knows its my fault that he has to wait. The new shaft in my bike is working perfectly. Haha!

Gas Gas had them in stock and we should of seen them this week but a delay at customs delayed them, so we should get them on the 17th or 18th.
As soon as we get them we will send them to your dealer.
