VIN help

Can someone help me with my VIN number I have tried diff ways but can't figure it out plus my bike has ec200 on the side but my motor has 249 e cc on the left side of it. I'm confused

The 249cc on the engine means the engine is a 250.

I am not sure if this is a 1998 or a 2001 EC250. Does it have a deeper metal ignition cover over the flywheel that has painted yellow GasGas on it?

All of the plastics interchange between the GG bikes. If it is actually a 1998 EC250 it would have come with the pinky-red plastic that was kinda ugly when new and very ugly when weathered. The pinky red plastic only came on the first 2 years of the EC250 so became rare and it would make sense that someone put another set of plastic on it.

Sounds like yours is the same.
The yellow plastics were original on the EC200, but, would fit the
1997-1999 bikes if I remember.

Like ZMAN said, the 250s were GG red and the 300s were blue I am
pretty sure.

I replaced the red plastics with black.... way back when these were
available. As far as I know there are no new radiator shrouds available
for the 1997-1999 GasGas bikes anywhere. Please point me in the right
direction if anyone knows where to get replacement rad shrouds.

I'm pretty sure it's at least 2001 cause it has the air filter plastic panal on it and if someone could help me figure out how to post a pic on this site I would send a pic of the motor and the bike

Does it have a plastic or metal ignition case cover?
