WEBSITE DOWNTIME : Storm...

Hi All,
The webserver for this website is at my home (actually it's in the garage).

They are expecting wind gust to 50 mph this evening - so the power may go out. There is battery backup - but it's only good for an hour or so...

The good news - well sort of - is that the governor of oregon lives right down the street from me and ever since he moved in the power hasn't gone off for very long at all..

By the way, the old UPS died a few weeks ago and a new UPS (battery backup) was purchased at costco this evening with donations from members here - $100 well spent. Thanks guys!

Just a heads up on the possible downtime...

Yeah, thanks for the heads up. Be careful in that winter weather. I just went downstairs into the garage to fix something on the gasser and I'm sweating like a running pig. Only in Florida, 85 degrees and hot as a furnace in February!

I know where you are coming from on that. I'm from Tennessee but I've lived in Florida for the last 12 years. I'm moving back to Tennessee at the end of this year. I know the cold and mud sucks. Florida is a good place to train because of the high humidity and almost all the top mx guys have private tracks here for that reason. Imho, if a person can ride in the hot summer weather with the high humidity in Florida, you can ride any hot weather anywhere.
