Checked sag and wedged a piece of timber between my air boot and shock spring to give a bit of extra clearance, considering it is going to be 45 deg c for the next 2 days i might not have to even get heat gun on it :D

It all seems to line up but I shall put the rear wheel back in at the weekend and double check!

I had to adjust the tabs a bit to get it centered its not perfect but close enough not to worry about
I always had issuses with the swingarm/subframe/frame not being straight but by the look of it all now it was the old subframe and everything else was straight as far as i could tell, so doing the update was needed.

What did you have to do prep wise to powdercoat your swingarm?

I like the white frame, and yellow # plate backgrounds. The white frames always remind of my first new mx bike '91 yz125.

I flushed the front brake fluid.
Cleaned up the big ball of wires behind the headlight.
Installed a new 2011 front fender and headlight shroud on my 2012. I honestly like the 2011 front fender better. Others may disagree...

I'm glad you got rid of that yellow, I have never been a fan of yellow bikes.

snow biking

A little slow speed ride through the woods and field today, snow was deeper and front tire was somewhat " unreliable" This is my first attempt at video editing. Used Windows Movie Maker. I used a boot mount for some of it, seems to give a better perspective

quick 20 miles of iowa singletrack

Today was in the high 50's so I had to sneak out and put the studs in the ice, dirt and leaves. The leaves were so deep in areas they were over the front wheel.
This part of Iowa is called the Loess Hills, not all of IA is flat.
So that is what I did today with my Gas Gas....with orange friends.;)
