What did you do to your Gas Gas today?

Stripped the back end out, cleaned and greased all pivots / linkages.
Then went out and rode it, forgot how well it goes :D

Chain, sprockets, chain guide, cleaning regreasing everything.

Rode it. Just in the snow in my yard, nothing exciting and why I don't have proper gear on (my wife on her TTR125L took the screen shot). But I was Jonesing to ride.

Two hour race today. Broke the side stand bracket about 20 minutes into the race. I heard this racket and thought "must be a loose chain." Not exactly. The stand flopped around for the rest of the race, only tied me up once.

I then bought a pressure washer on the way home. Best $50 I have spent all year.

All year ? We're only 4 days in.......... ;)

How did the race go anyway ?

Okay, best $50 I have spent all month?

I was either second place or dead last. I know of one person from our wave in front of me, but that doesn't mean anything. It was a real corker. Small mistakes cost the race. We both fell, but I fell more than he did. After two hours of racing we were separated by about 20 feet. It was, as the kids say, "epic." Videos are being pulled from the camera right now. Hopefully there wasn't too much mud on the lens for the good stuff.

Installed an EE kickstand foot.

I got these scars from last May when the ground was muddy and the stand kept sinking so I stood it up on a rock and turned out to be too straight. The wind blew it over into me and as a reflex (I didn't even think) I grabbed the bike and popped my bicep tendon and required surgery. So I wanted the foot to prevent that from happening again LOL.

Nasty stuff.........

Where was the foot from ?

New Studded Rear Tire

Installed a new studded tire for winter riding. I have been using Cold Cutter screws for the past couple of years, but they rip out of the rear tire. The Cold Cutters are fine in the front.

For the rear I decided to try a Pirelli XC Mid-Hard tire that I studded with Grip Studs. The Grip Studs go in way more securely. Went for a short ride and I don't think these are going anywhere.

New rear brake pad slider shim thinger. They wear out and let the pad wear the carrier and also cause the pads to stick in one spot. Much like a grooved clutch basket. Also spaced the silencer out for more clearance from the tire studs. Then rode the heck out of it for the morning yesterday.

OUCH !!!
That is absolutely terrible.
Its like when sometime falls off the table in between your legs and you smash your legs together to catch but forget, for the millionth time, that your smashing your nads.
I hope you get a full recovery.

It was just like that lol. When I was sitting on my trucks end gate in so much pain I felt like I was going to pass out I couldn't believe I just did that. To make matters worse I had to load up and drive my stick shift truck home and of course it was my right arm. It was one of the few times I ever rode alone and I paid for it.
