Training Instructor in a Michelin factory where we produce a range of truck tyres which are exported all over the world.
HEY rubber brother.
17 years in a union off-road tire plant,I build the smaller (300 to 1000lb) radial tires.The largest tire we produce is around 11,000 lbs.
Have been training newbies alot lately,reminds me of raising the offspring.

9 years in a motorcycle dealership/parts manager/sales before that,good deal for parts and bikes as I raced MX every weekend but grew tired of 6 day workweeks.

I work for FedEx. I understand Michelin designed a drive tire based specifically for our demands? We may have met at one time or another.

IT - started up at a ABB company printing out invoices / running AS/400 backup tasks, progressing to mail admin / webmaster - took a bit of a risk and went on working as a consultat for 13 years, and I just got a desk of my own a few months ago (working for a private company nowadays).
The consultant life didn't blend that well with enduro / trackbike riding...I never got a proper vacation...and a day off here and there was almost impossible to get free..

JP, if you don't get the joke, you can't handle the rest of what I got! You came out acting like a fool over this. Guys like desertgasser just rolled with it with a smile. You must be really steaming over this being its a few days old. I suspect current events may have something to do with it.
Now all your competitors know how to get into your head on race day. I suggest you both lighten up and grow tougher skin. I say nothing here that I wouldn't say to my union friends.
Oh, and if you feel that your rights have been violated, your feelings hurt, or I am out of line, file a complaint. Maybe you could take my place and be the new moderator. Then you could unionize all the moderators and drive the website into financial collapse.
