I want to tone down bike would a 12oz weight be enough? what other measures can I take? want a trail bike not a motocross racer..

I have a stealthy 12 i use to run on my 250. It makes it way more "electric'' if that's what you are looking for. I would let it go for $55 if you want it. I don't have the bike anymore.
email me if you'd like. juhrig@horizonview.net

If that's not enough, my friend made a 22 oz flywheel weight for his bike. It was nearly impossible to stall with that, and it really was tractable at low rpm. It worked surprisingly well.

if the 12 doesn't work out I will go heavier cause I already bought it. thanks for the info roosta

Get a G2 Ergo throttle and try the #200 cam with the 12 oz weight. That should be good, and if its still too much you can go to the #400 cam.

sounds like a ripple effect, would that mean re-jetting as-well?

no with the g2 your just messing with how the throttle rolls on, its got nothing to do with the carb

thx bro, it has a stock looking weight on it already I am assuming its 8-10oz..

get the 12 on it I'm just gonna ride it like I stole it the hell with it lol..

I think the G2 is more beneficial than the weight for the technical woods, but together they work great. I even put one on my Ducati to smooth the launch and make it a little harder to wheelie.
