Where can a fella get some info on the 2014 lineup??? I want a new 300R but can't get any info on the changes/improvements/specs.....

Thanks!

Was hoping to find something on the rumor of a new adjustable power valve design and overall seat height compared to the 2013/2011s.

The Sherco 2stroke sounds interesting.....wonder if they'll have any at the Demo on the 27th @ the Rattlesnake Enduro.....?

No 2T Shercos yet, due to release in September at this time. The 300i will be at Rattlesnake along with GG 250 & 300

This is what I have:
reduce weight by 4 kg
Changes to engine:
In order to reduce weight will be introduced:
New water pump with improved production process for more quality and less weight.
New reed box (VFORCE 4) with integrated stoppers that increase durability of reed petals and increase engine power.
New disc clutch cover, with improved cooling function.
New clutch crankcase. Cover lighter and production process for more quality
Re-design crankcase.
New cylinder head. Less weight and new design.
Re-design crankshaft. Less vibration and more power.
New ignition system. More power and more compact engine design.

Frame changes:
The upside part of the frame it?s equal for every model while the downside changes according the engine. Improving manufacturing process.

With the new geometry, the frame is more flexible therefore easier to ride and with a better performance on the entry and exit of turns.

Reduce almost 1,5 kg just with the frame. Plus reducing engine and some components weight.
New Reiger rear shock.

I have not been told what the price of the 2014 models are and I have not been given any pics of the 2014 models. Therefore I have not ordered any 2014 models as of yet. I am very concerned about the new shock because no one here in the US knows anything about it.
Sherco 2T models should be here in September in limited quantities.

No different than when the Sachs or Ohlins hit.
As long as you can get parts, should not be a problem.

Around 10 lbs that's pretty good for just 1 model year. Need to talk with Les about the shock. He has knowledgeable friends around the world, and may know something about it.

Will the Sherco's 2Ts have a kick start lever?

Thanks for the updates Clay!

Now I want one!!!!!!!!!!!!

Isn't there also a new swingarm?

Thanks for the info Clay. How about the adjustable power valve rumor? Any truth to that?

Not even a photo of the new bikes yet..........odd.

Some of the changes that are rumored appear to be a step in the right direction, BUT it looks like GG is taking a backwards slide in the U.S. if the importer hasn't even ordered any yet. Another year like 2012 with only a handfull of bikes being imported?

It doesn't seem like they take the U.S. market very seriously if they won't even provide prices to the importer in a reasonable time. 2014 KTM's are already on the showroom floor.

Take a deep breath.... My local KTM Dealer has '14 SX's on the floor, but told me they haven't done their Off Road bike order yet.

Take a deep breath....

I'm not worked up over it, just calling it how I see it. I think the difference between KTM's offroad bikes and the GG is that the KTM's will be here soon, but the GG order hasn't even been placed yet by the importer not the dealer.

It'll probably be another year or so before I buy another bike, so it doesn't matter much to me when they get here. It was just an observation.

I went another way about it , I lost a stone and a half , made me faster for longer :D
What's half a stone? Is that like a real small rock. I get those in my boots occasionally. Can't ride that way have to stop and take them out.
