Ok so I was right about the ignition switch and it's turning over but the Bendix is not spinning the ring gear. Also when the ignition key is turned on the tail light and high beam comes on lol god help me
Where does this go?

If the starter seems like it's just spinning with no contact to the ring gear what would you guys check or adjust first?i was thinking of moving from the thickest gasket to the thinnest as a start?

Ok so I tried the smallest gasket to the biggest then all 3. It seems like it will catch for the first couple spins then crap out. Is this the spring problem you guys were talking about?
