Rausch Creek Trail Riders. Rausch Creek Website. I grew up in that area. In fact, my old '70's riding buddies and I forged a lot of the trails that are part of Rausch Creek. Great variety of trails and a lot of PA Coal banks to climb. 45 minutes from Harrisburg. 10 minutes off I-81.

What kind of riding do you want to do?
Tracks - trails - enduro?
Is your bike plated?
I am in Carlisle, PM me.
Plenty of riding, some public and some invite only.
Welcome to PA, hope you like rocks

Riding near Harrisburg

Thanks for the response guys.

Krieg, Raush Creek looks good. I will check those guys out. I wish I had known about you earlier, I lived about 15 miles from you.

Boom Boom, PM'd you and thanks.

Once spring is a little closer I'll have you up my way to ride.. We got lots of tight trails,, need a plate of some kind tho.. rocky trails most rides and some days we hit the fun trails..
Oh,, I'm right up 81 then down rt 54 to jim thorpe.. about 1 1/2 hr if your a slow driver..

I ride with Steve and he has some good stuff. PA is a good recreation friendly state, not like the socialist s**t hole I live in. Its sometimes called the Texas of the north. If you've got a decent job and like to ride you'll be a happy camper. Good Luck!

Well the job seems to be good so far and I do like to ride so everything should work out ok! Now if I can get my wife to use the sink disposal I will be ok!!HAHA

Thanks GMP

Stay on the radar here, we can meet up this summer for some rides or enduros. I like Michaux its just like riding at home for me, and the Rattlesnake Enduro up in CrossFork is a national this year.

Cruiser, we need to hook up this spring.
I ride that area from Summit Hill with an ole friend that lives there.
If you see trials tracks when riding, odds are that was me.
Think we should take our new friend to the "Moose Trail" for a warm up:rolleyes:

Moose trail? The guys out that way have some better names than that for trails. Urinal trail and Vagina trail come to mind. Urinal trail sports a real urinal on a tree. Nothing real on the other one just a representation by a tree.:D

DAMN! This thread is making me wanna ride so bad I'm ready to buy a thermal pressure suit and head to Pennsylvania!!!! :D

Yea Krieg, I know what you mean. I think these guys may be trying to test my skills with the moose ????? trail. HAHA

Moose trail gets its name from a rock out cropping on top the mountain that looks the part. It should be called the 5 mile long trails section.

Kinda funny you guys that normally do not get snow have been hammered this year. We just got our first real snow of the year last night, a massive 2 inches. :D

Boom Boom,, I ride with Stianche a lot.. so you know what trails I get drug through..

I hang out with Mr Boyd, nice riding with someone that knows everyone and every trail in those mountains.
I need to see if my schedule is open to make the Smoke Hole gathering this year. I think it fell on a DS ride or a trials last year.
I need to check ADV rider to see if someone has kicked the post off for 2011.

David is busy so far as He got a winter part time job as mountain guide over at Blue mtn ski resort.. they pay him to ski all day.. I think he goes in on his days off...
