Well Here It Goes Big "boom" This Year Did Not Start Off On The Write Foot. Jammin Jim Nails The Hole Shot For About Ten Feet And Then The Bike Comes To A Stop At The Top Of The Hill. Not A Good Feeling!! I Am About A Half Mile Away Watching It Go Down, So I Start Running To The Pits. Jim Limps The Bike To The Pits Thinking He Spit A Plug. We Change It To Find Out Thats Not The Problem!! Boy Is He Blowing A Gasket By Now. I Mentioned Main Jet And He Began Ripping The Carb Off. Yes Main Jet Is Laying In The Bottom Of The Bowl. We Scramble Around To Find A 6mm Socket And Give It To Him.....boy Was That A Mistake!!! He Snaps The @@@@ing Jet Clean Off. Yes I Am Ready To Run And Hide. I Take Off Across The Parking Lot With Screw Drivers In Hand. Keep In Mind I Am Fat And Out Of Shape. Come Back With Diff. Carb And Put It On The Race Started At 2 Pm Jim Started At 2:17. From Dead Last And I Mean Dead Dead Last He Gathered His Thoughts And Took Off. 1st Lap He Caught The Am. Classes,second Lap He Was A Head Of Most Of The Am. Classes. Lap Three He Was On The Pipe Reeling The Rest Of The Pack In. Lap Four He Was About 30th Overall. Lap 4 20th Overall Lap 5 15th O/a. At The End I Came Up With 9th O/a "unofficial" And 6th In The Aa Class. He Is The Iron Man I Knew He Was! This Was His Kind Of Race And I Believe He Had Them Covered. That Race Was The Longest Race I Have Ever Seen And I Have Seen Many Races. Hats Off To Jim For Hanging In There And Getting Some Valuable Points. Thats It For Now. Ps Great Ride Also John Mair I Knew You Had It In You. Gas Gas Hell Ya!!!!!!
