This past weekend I had to awesome opportunity to help Geoff Aaron out at the Texas round of the Enduro X.

The course was more supercross oriented than usual.

In the heat races, Geoff got a well deserved 2nd place.
For the sprint race to determine gate pick. Geoff got 3rd. Not bad considering he had a get-off in the rock pile.

Right before the main event, it rained for 20 minutes. This made the track slippery for the first few races.
The track did dry out quickly.

Focus.

Geoff got a poor start and was in 9th place at the 1st turn.
He quickly passed five riders in the rock pile.

Geoff got a 5th in the final. Very impressive, there were a lot of heavy hitters at this race.

Geoff is such a great ambassador for the sport. Very friendly and easy going. He basically won the race out of a suitcase, he flew in and had a friend bring his bike to the race. The X Games had severe restrictions on what type of support vehicle could be in the compound. That ment Geoff could not bring his big rig.
It was cool to see all the other riders would walk up to Geoff and wish him luck.

It was fun times for sure.
I'd do it again in a heart beat.

The Power Core 2 is cut down. All the way back to the last bracket.

Arizona Story: Max Gerston decided to race only three weeks after a compound fracture of his iliac crest (upper hip bone). He injured it in a freak boat ramp accident as a passenger. He got 10th in the main IIRC.

Max is Joe G-Narly!!!

Max Gerston post-race. He was unable to train. He's usually doing wheelies on his Beta after the race.
