It's actually a 290 but really sweet. 6 speed with FI and light weight. From what I read they can be purchased through the trials bike dealers.

This is the racing version that comes with Ohlins forks and other blingy stuff.

Its their own motor, been in development a few years. I'm guessing its just a big bore version of ther 250. Amazing how Sherco, a small company as well, blew right by GasGas as far as the the 250F is concerned. If you have ever seen a Sherco 450, the motor looks a lot like a KTM RFS. Never saw a 250 in the flesh.

Sherco has the FI thing really dialed. Read any reviews and it's just about perfect in operation. No glitches from bottom to top. The bikes are very very nice with wonderfly smooth motors and great attention to detail. The 300F is based off their little 250 motor and right on par with the KTM for lightness.

Now hold your breath.....If you want one of these little 300F's it'll cost you almost $10.5K to get it to your door. Bikes have to be paid for up front in full (either dealer or you) to RYP and then it's special ordered from the factory and will take 2 months to get to RYP here in the States and then maybe another week to the dealer for delivery. Yes, the trials bike dealers can order them and according to the one in NH I asked about this bike the parts and warranty support from RYP is outstanding. Exclusive club for sure to own one.

If its a special order bike, with a minimal number sold I'm sure, parts must be special order as well. That about rules out quick fixes to save a ride or race if an OEM part is needed. Very nice, just a bit too exotic for the average guy who likely can only afford one bike at a time, and not build a parts stock.
