2012 300 Race Pics

Picking up my 300 at the transport company on Monday! It is a holiday in Ontario on Monday so I wouldnt get it til Tues but they said I can come to the warehouse and pick it up myself if I want.

Building a new 2012 Gasser sounds like a great way to spend a holiday Monday.

Aren't you supposed to spend "Family Day" with your family.... okay, that Gasser is going to be like family!:D

Does the 2012 200 share the same pipe as the 250/300? I would also like to order a guard and possibly a pipe. Not much listed for the 200.

I will be getting a Hyde for an '11 to test fit on the '12 and see if it can be made to work and if so without too much drama. It would be great if Scorpion cme up with something, I can't even test ride the bike here without a pipe guard, its one of the first things that must go on. That Scorpion linkage skid is nice and I may end up needing that too.

In the past they have always had a 200 specific pipe. However, that is the only external 200 specific part. Skid plate, rad braces, dampners etc are the same as 250/300s. So even if its not listed for the 200, it will still probably work.

Here is the first 2012 EC300 in Denmark, Picture taken today at the Danish Extreme Enduro Championship. The rider, Peter Weiss took 1. place on his brand new Gasser, 4 hours on ice, mud, sand and stones... Nice place to break in a new bike:D..

I got my hands on a E Line pipe guard before the GA National this weekend and it fit the '12 pipe no problem. The biggest difference between the '11 pipe and the '12 pipe seems to be in the mounts and angle at the back where it attaches to the silencer. The expansion part seems to be roughly the same.

How did the bike feel now that you got a full enduro on it?

It is really, really good. The motor is awesome. Tons of torque but will rev out if needed. Didn't have to adjust the jetting. I did put a 50 t rear sprocket on it. The suspension was really good but it has to be re-sprung for the rider's weight. I did not touch the shock setting and I have been using the PFP valve to change the fork settings. Didn't hit the pegs on anything all day so the ground clearance is better. I am very happy with the bike.
