2013 special edition bikes?

Hey has anyone heard if the special edition bikes will be released earlier than standard summer releases since we've seen the 13's so early this year? Maybe an insider might know something(clay;)

The order form I saw still had them scheduled for April/May production. When we first started with GG I asked about the late timing and was told that the factory released the replica bikes then to build some excitement about the brand during a slow time for new models. Don't personally get it but that's whant they choose to do.

Any info how they will be equiped and pics?
Most interested in the 300, I guess it would be the Guillaume edition.

Thanks,
Roscoe

Well I hope they come out a bit early to allow me to enjoy a whole season of that model year. I too am Interested in the 300 replica but want one in the spring not the fall

No idea at this point but they will prolly have Ohlins TTX both ends and bolt on stuff like the Raptor ti pegs, Hahn hubs, etc. and they will prolly be $2500 more than a Race model.

Thanks clay that's exactly what I'm looking for, hopefully they come out in spring or late winter and I can get my hands on one. I don't mind the 2500 premium. Did the guillame model for 12 have the 13 corrections done to it already?( ie. the shrouds, air filter, subframe etc). I know in the past the replica bikes have incorporated some of the following years changes.

Ya your right, I better give Christophe a call and ask him to come back or that's gonna be a hell of an inconvinence !

I don't think so. I did not order any so I can't really remember. I don't believe they did because most of the updated stuff wasn't built then.

So for over 11K you get a bike that still needs to be set up for you. From a purely functional point of view, don't you think you could do better getting a race model and spending $2500 your own way?

A I'm lazy, B I know you guys like the zokes, I don't I want ttx, C up here I can easily get 2k more(still) for the same year nambo over an ec300 because there far to common. I did a test list of my bike when we had a bunch of gasser's on our local kijiji and could have sold it to 3 seperate people for 2k more the next day while the others sat. Different strokes for different folks my friend!

At the end of the day, its all about what you can go faster and have the most fun on.

Easy 10HP in the stickers alone!

Thats why none of the other bikes have ever felt as strong as the Nambo. :D

I'm not a bling guy at all, if it doesn't make me able to ride faster, longer and/or more comfortable, or contribute to longevity and durability of the bike it has no place. I also tend to keep my bikes a few years because I like to make all the setup effort worth it, so I'm less concerned with resale. Used GGs here, any model special or not are a tougher sell. There is no way in hell I could get another 2K for a Nambo, if thats a constant up there then hey why not?

You know, if I could buy a bike as a kit, a crate of parts at a much reduced price, I'd do it in a heartbeat. Basic parts with a few choices, but no tires, bars, and stuff that everyone has a different opinion on. Build it myself the way I want. What a concept huh?

Onto a winner there. Almost everyone I know who is serious about their bikes takes the time to pull them down and regrease everything before ever riding them anyway. Its all double handling. I'd actually probably buy one just because I'd enjoy putting it together!
