2019 GP edition is out

Nope

Had one on order and was given the bad news that they will not be imported to the USA and will be a 2020 model, production will not begin until mid summer...?...really bummed this was confirmed by two dealers in Idaho state.

200s have never been particularly popular in the UK as there is no defined class for them in competions. You may as well ride a 250 in the same class and benefit from the better power.

I agree from the perspective of competitive riders, but for the perpetual sportsman that doesn't have a lot of talent and is taking part for fun, which makes up a large percentage of the average UK club entry, the EC200 makes a lot of sense. Using the same bottom end as the bigger bikes gave it non-threatening power characteristics ideal for getting an unfit 40+ rider to the end of the race. I don't think they have ever been vastly successful sellers because not many know about their unique characteristics.

I heard some rumors that torrot and gasgas are separated. Does anyone know more about this?

Damn it!

If its true that's not good news I fear. Just bought a 2019.
I searched different forums, also the one Elvis74 is participating but I could not find a serious source...

I highly doubt this is true. Seems very unlikely knowing what I know about the minds behind Torrot.
Lets all calm down...
This is nothing more than an internet rumour at this point. There is no proof whatsoever behind it anywhere other than people posting about it on forums.

Well I hope so!
I am a big fan of gasgas and as soon as my KTM is sold I will buy one again. Than I have 2 in my garage and that’s good :-)
I don’t want to spread some bad things but I thought someone here had heard more about it.
I love my gasser and I will keep it ;-)

I would bet it is some BS spread by KTM and Beta owners!:D

I dont think so. In the German forum there is a dealer who said "not every change is a bad one" and currently he is unable to tell all internal news to the public.
It seems there is at least a tiny spark of truth in it. But we'll see anyway...
