A little poem.....

My GF has a knack for poems and little diddys, got to love her as she actually encourages my motorcycling 'habit'. Any way this hit her mind as she drove to work this morning- although mine is a 'new to me' 2010.......

You search your life
And try to find
That one true love
That blows your mind

The one you know
You can't live without
You lose control
To the world you shout

I finally found
The one for me
I sent up prayers
God heard my plea

It's a love I know
Will stand the test of time
A love that has made
My life sublime

Yes, this love I've found
Will all others surpass
Oh, how I love
My new Gas Gas.

Sounds like I should have got some extra cash out of you for that bike.:). Glad to hear you are enjoying the bike, it was the best one I ever had.

Yes I am...It pulled me along with it to a 5th in class at my first National Enduro this weekend. I promise you I'm the weak link in this deal :D

I met Fred and his girlfriend and their family (their dogs) this weekend in MO at the National Enduro. I was almost late to the start because Fred and I were talking so much. Fred's a great guy who loves riding his Gas Gas and, obviously, his gf is pretty cool, too!
Fred got a 5th place finish in his first ever National Enduro.

Clay, Thanks for the kind words...:o I'm humbled

That'll get you farther, it becomes real with pictures:p

Congratulations on the good placing Fred! Bike looks mint with your new graphics too! Sounds like you had it dialled in pretty well and it didn't beat you up like it did last time round :D

The bikes were in the shed before the girlfriend was in the bed. They both know their places. All she said was "Your poem was lovely.. all romance you are" followed by "Haha can't get between a man and his bike". Credit to your lady Fred! Her poem was lovely. Hahaha!

I must admit I'm pretty spoilt though. I don't get to bring the bike to bed, but my spares and riding gear lives in the bedroom.. AT least until she moves in. :D

Hey Jake, you know the drill;dial the jetting in(your the xpert),set the squish and she'll love you for long time.

I sent it to my wife and did get a response. Here it is.
For a very brief moment I thought nice things about you...
:D She didn't find it near as funny as I did. But that happens all the time.
