Amsoil Saber

I watched Slavens ramble about it for a few minutes on youtube. He comes up with some strange things at times, but overall times provides some really useful info to the masses; especially to those who don't know better.

In my opinion I'd say he's sick of answering "Jeff, which oil is best" questions and he's also taken it as an opportunity to boost sales a bit and inspire people to try something new.

As far as the product, I imagine it will work as described. I've exclusively ran Dominator in both my bikes and been more than happy with the performance. I just wish I could get it as cheap as you blokes in the states can! Not exactly cheap here in Australia, but still a few dollars less than the competition.

If you go on their website they offer a dealer deal at 25% off for $10 for the first 6 months. And $20 for every year after that, plus you dont need to be a dealer. I dont know if it works in the Outback, but its worth a try :)

BTW

I was just reading on KTMTALK that some guy said his friends bottom end rusted because Supertechnoplate attracts moisture. And if you store your bike for any amount of time it could rust.

We have an Australian Distributer who I can get trade discounts (%20) off, but even then the prices are far more than what you'd pay in the states. Import taxes and all the shipping is 'dangerous goods' so prices ramp up quick.

End of the day I get there products cheaper than I can Motul, Motorex, etc, and I'm happy with how the Amsoil performs. I've been using their suspension and transmission fluids as well.

We ship quite often to Australia and the US post office is by far the cheapest over any of the commercial shippers.

What's the difference between the Dominator and Interceptor 2t oil?

They are close to the same but Dominator can handle real high heat (RPMs) a little better while Interceptor probably runs a tad bit cleaner.

I believe it's flash point; Dominator is higher and thus better suited for racing and/or high-end stuff.

I'm with Logan, been running the Interceptor stuff for a few years and really like it. No issues running it in my old orange 300 and it's been great in my '11 GG200. A group of us (4 guys) buy a case at a time and split it up - brings the cost down to ~$8/quart.

Bought a couple qts of Interceptor today. I do a lot of low spd/low rpm stuff as well as higher...a gd mix of both. Figured I try to Intceptor first...thanks
