As1 vs as2

Has anyone experienced the power difference between an AS1 VS an AS2.

I don't think there is one, it's more about the compactness of the as2 to make it fit the confines of modern day 2 strokes.

They do jet slightly differently, due to bowl configuration and other factors, but i don't think one is better than the other, simply a different design.

Technically speaking one may be able to produce different power characteristics or peak hp figures in the same way that a 36mm and a 38mm will flow differently, however I imagine the difference between a 38mm AS1 and 38mm AS2 would be so small that it would be likely that unless you were tuning both on a dyno on the same engine on the same day that the differences would be meaningless.
