At a crossroads??

About every two years I get the bug for a newer bike, but this year it's not in the budget. I did although get the green light for new plastics, to give the illusion of a newer bike.

I'm torn with the choice of the:
2014 racing plastics
2014 Factory 30th anniversary plastics
2015 Racing plastics

I like the black rad plastics on the 15' and I like the black rear fender and sides of the 14'. The ultimate would be to combine the two, black rear and sides and black rad plastics.

I know black shows the scratches easier, but I don't really care for white plastics.

2014 Replica

2015 Racing

Buy a new bike and just tell her its new plastics. Look how good it looks dear ;)

Save the money and spend it on the running gear. I just put new plastics on my 2010, but really with the kms on it, even though the engine is fresh its all the small things that are showing wear. Calipers and their locating pins have too much play, disks are worn out of spec. Brake and Clutch levers are all sloppy from wear.

@Jakobi I had the exact same experience the new plastics just didnt sparkle enough to cover the tired parts below, but I still like the bike and have not upgraded.

I am guessing that DG300's bike is only 2 years old so may be a slightly different case when he fits his new plastics

PS i vote 2014 racing - having put white plastics on my bike i like the look but a black tail piece will hide the soot from the exhaust nicely

I would favor the 2014 Race graphics.

The second photo (2014 Replca) looks too much like Beta. The third photo (2015 Race) looks like a 2012-13 GG-R.

I got racing!!

I wish I could get away with that!! She's to sharp for me to pull one over on her.

All the little things that wear, come loose or rattle get taken care of immediately. I hate worn parts and weird unnecessary noises.

My plastics and graphics have been re-glued and patched for awhile.

Desertgasser300 What colours your frame and swing arm, I think it makes a huge different's to how the plastics look on the bike.

My first choice would but the 2014 Racing plastics it looks best with the red frame and black swingarm In my opinion.
