Bending shift lever back?

Lost an entanglement with a large rock whilst coming down Bishop Ridge a couple weeks ago and it bent the heck out of my shift lever.

I've snapped plenty of brake/clutch levers in the past trying to bend them back - is there a decent way to do so?

If not, anyone have a spare they want to sell...lol?

I bent mine under the case a few weeks ago. We were at an in-laws cabin and all I had available was a rake handle. I just went slow and it bent back just fine.

If you have mapp gas, it makes it easy. Even the El Chepo ones from a hardware store work well. Or propane torch. Get it nice and hot(glowing) and it bends back like butter.

I did the same a couple weeks ago.

Remove from the bike. Put it in the vice. Heat it up. Use some force/leverage to manipulate it back into place.

Thanks gents, sounds like my torch and some time in the vice will get her sorted. Or, you'll see a thread asking if anyone has a spare...lol.
