I need some serious work on my '11 ec 300e suspension. I have the ohlins/marizochi set up, and it is feeling pretty harsh on these front range rocky rooty trails.
I have heard some recommendations of some suspension shops, but I am curious if anyone knows of a shop that specializes in our particular setup?

I hear Dave at STM Suspension in FT Collins, CO has a pretty good handle on the Zokes, Also Les at LTR in Washington knows them well

2X Les

bluespark I hear you. We ride southern and central Colorado, mostly roots and rocks where a purely smooth singletrack is unheard of. Had Les fix up my 07 EC300 (Marz/Ohlins) this winter and he is spot on. The terrain I specified for Les was 100% roots and rocks. About 2 wk turnaround and very good pricing for the revalve/service/seals/bleeders/lowering 1 inch. Obviously I'm not motocrossing it, but July 4 we rode over 60 miles in the southern San Juans and July 6 we rode over 40 of mostly very harsh creekbottoms north of South Fork. NO WAY could I ride that many miles and not be sore except for Les doing his magic. I heard about him here on GGRider and am just another super satisfied customer.

Also locally keep hearing about a guy in Durango named Adam Krefting who supposedly has some trickery he works that makes people start talking exitedly when you mention his name.

Thanks guys, I spoke to Dave at STM today and I am going to try to get my suspension to him here in a few weeks. It sounds like he knows our set up well, and I don't have to deal with shipping parts.
I might have to head up to the Smooth single track in Eagle county next weekend and give my back a rest.

Thumperflipper, I was just curious what you paid for all the work you had done, just to see how close it comes to the quote I got today. I will probably need all the same work, minus the lowering.
You can PM me if you like.

I am extremely pleased with my suspension after Drew @ WER went through my 45 Zokes and 888 Ohlins. Easily the best money I have spent. Just my $.02 :D
WER Website He is out east, but his turnaround time was second to none!

Suspension setup

Les at LTR has done my forks and shock on my 06-300 and they worked excellent. Great service, fast turnaround, super helpful. He also set up my KYB SSS forks when I did the swap. Pure magic,I swear I'll get another ten years of life out of my worn out body with this plush setup.

(Old and slow, but not as sore)

Check out Enduro Spec!

Hi, I would strongly recommend Enduro Spec out of Parker Colorado. I live in Colorado and can tell you that Warren Healy, the owner of Enduro Spec can get you super dialed in. I ride a 13' GG 300Race and he performed magic on my suspension. I felt the stock the suspension, though under sprung for my weight, was adequate valving wise for trail riding. Prior year forks suffered from mid-stroke harshness that made for a rough ride. Warren was able to re-spring and revalve my suspension to handle a wide variety of terrain. He also installed the speed sensitive valving kit(huck valve) to enable the fork to soak up the small roots and rocks, then blow into a whoop section without fear of collapsing the front fork. This system is spectacular to say the least.
I would strongly recommend calling him before you do anything else!
