Correct positioning of rear wheel spinal bolt

Hi

Now I now this might sound stange but I've never removed or put on a rear wheel before and to my surprise when my bike was delivered from the shop I brought it from it came strapped on a pallet with the rear wheel removed.

I've managed to attach the wheel but I can not work out witch way the spinal on the left side of the wheel gos as it has a piece protruding out of it, I'm not sure if it's ment to line up with something, please see attached picture.

Any ideas would be great !

The pin on the axle fits into the notch in the axle adjuster block.

OK now I see the notch your on about, I should have worked that one out
