EC 300 Shift Lever

Keep me posted on how this turns out for you. Who did you order it from?

I was finally able to get out for a ride this past weekend and test the Emgo shifter. I decided to raise it a notch on the splines in the hope of avoiding smashing it when navigating some of the crazy ruts we have to deal with.

While it worked great for that, I found it's far too short for my size 11 boots and where I like to have my feet placed when riding. I left it in place for the ~50 miles we ripped and adjusted where my shift foot resides on the foot peg - not really that fun (lol). My left calf is sore as all get out.

It needs to be about an inch longer to work in that position, so I'll be looking to get one of the 125 shifters if I can.

Any chance you could measure the difference in length between the two? Be good to know that before I go throw down some $$$ on something that might not work

Spooly - the circlip is 12mm (think that's inner diameter, but don't remember to be honest). I picked up a 12 and 14 and the 12 fit

Thats what i was afraid of. I wear size 12 and have the same issue with the stock one. I did order an ec125 shifter and its much better. Its about a half inch longer than stock

Any chance you'd want to share where you ordered it from? I did a quick search for GG125 shifter, but haven't dug into it yet...too busy at work

What year did you order the ec125 shifter for? Or does it matter? I wear a 13 boot and would love a longer shifter. (1/2 spline off would be cool too but I'll take what I can get.)

What year did you order the ec125 shifter for?

Interested in knowing this too; just talked to the folks at Halls and the part number they have in stock is the same for the current 125s through the 300s. The parts guy said the new part number super-cedes the older part number (they were different in '04), so I'm wondering if we need to look for an '04.

They said it's 7" long from end to end, guessing that's measured in a straight line and doesn't account for the bend. I can measure my old one when I get home tonight, but if anyone has the capacity to do so in the next few hours, that'd be nice
