EC300 Mods for Tall Riders?

Hi All,

Just put a deposit on a brand-new 2010 EC300.
I am 6'2"-34"inseam. So, it's a little cramped for me. Other than a tall seat, what are the recommended bar-riser and low-peg solutions?

The last bar-riser I used was not stable, bar was twisting after each hit.

I also would like to have a low-peg, not low-and-back-peg. Can I adjust the shifter after installing log-peg?

Thanks,

Burhan

Im 6'6''. Ive got a guts tall seat, back and down pegs and a Protec sub-mount. I think Protec might be out of business, I havent been able to get ahold of them? The Protec sub-mout, mounts the bars in the furthest forward position and raises them over an inch. Brp might have a sub-mount that does the same thing.

Nate,
Which pegs do you use?

I assume Scott sub-mount stabilizer elevates the bar about 25mm. I was already considering a stabilizer.

My son is 6' and has the RC high bars in the forward holes, Gutts tall seat, and Fastway F3 pegs in the lower position. He say's it now fits him like his Husky TC 250. LOL at 5' 7" I loved the stock set up!

I'm 6'3" and raised by bars by 40mm, made a hell of a difference. :)

Not sure I would want my pegs any lower tho', as more likely to catch feet on stumps, deep ruts.

Was gonna ask the same question

I'm just shy of 6'2 and just got a 2010 300 (rides so nice).

I got the GPR submount which raised the bars nearly a inch, but after getting to really ride the bike for the first time yesterday I realized I am still feeling a little cramped.

I might get the Renthal 'mini bike' Fat Bars which are very tall, they are also relatively narrow but leave plenty of room for mounts, kill switches etc.

I might be investing in some of the many pegs available as I still need a little more 'room'.

I LOVE that bike!!!
