Front Fender Cross-Over

The cross-over list shows a YZ front fender for the '02-current Gas Gas.

I'm not sure which year YZ is being referred to, as all the fich's I looked at showed a fender that mounts that nothing like the one (that used to be...) on my '11 EC300
My concern is the mount for the head light mask that attaches to the fender.

Thanks in advance.

That should probably be updated to show 02-10. The 2011 is not like anything out there. At least nothing that I have seen. I believe you could still do the YZ fender, but the headlight would not work so maybe convert to the number plate?

Why not run a factory fender?

I am sure someone will correct me if I am wrong, but I am curious if the 02-10 fenders would work if you left the bracket on the triple clamps for the Headlight, I can't remember if the older fenders are just flat on top, if they are then it should fit. The Triple clamp should be drilled to accept the old style, I would make sure if I wasn't at work, I would run out to the garage and check...

The 2012 is a new design as well, kind of a hybrid of the 2011 and the earlier models. The 12 Uses male pins to attach to the headlight without the raised mounting.

A 2010-2011 crf250 front guard is a pretty close match to the stock 2011 guard, has a hollow in the middle for the light to fit in.
Fit is pretty much already correct, you might need to oval out some of the holes or drill new ones, but they are pretty much the same shape.

Thanks a million for the replies.

Stock unit is on order, but I'm leaving tomorrow for Moab and wanted to get something on there that would halfway fit. Since there are some highway transfers from trail to trail up there, I need to keep the headlight mask. If I cant get the bracket to fit on top of the fender I end up with, I think the upper rubber headlight straps will hold the mask on well enough.

Thanks again.
