This is what I believe to be a 1971 Alpina 250. It currently belongs to a friend of mine who is a collector. I often work on and ride his bikes as he is unable to do as much as he used to. He offered for me to "take it and have some fun with it". I'm hopeful that he can be persuaded to either sell it to me or make some sort of trade that puts it in my stable. I will need to go over it carefully and clean the fuel system before I attempt to start it, but I'm looking forward to learning more about these things.

I had one just like that several years ago. I could not believe how that thing could idle down and just chug along, it was a blast to ride.
