I tested the output from my rectifier last week and found it was pushing out 16.5v at idle.
I've just got a new one sent in the post but when it's arrived its the 2002/3 rectifier (finned version - part number MFS400134009), the one on mine is the Ducati unit - part number MFS450434009.
The connector is the same but before I connect the battery and run it would running the older version cause an issue? Is there any reason why it should cause a problem?
Would appreciate your advice please!
