GGOR Ride in CO

I hope to spend about a month a bit north of Gunnison in July...not sure the 125 will be the best bike to ride up there tho....If I can work out the details I'm gonna need a trail guide.
Looks like the FR4/GGOR organized ride will be too late in the season for me - I should be out there for about 14 days somewhere between 20 April and 10 August. I have a friend 55 miles west of Gunnison in the town of Silverton who knows most of the trails in southern colorado. Maybe we can hook up for a few days.

Please post the dates for this ride when the details get worked out. I would sure like to go. - Ken

i believe the september dates are starting thursday 15th thru sunday 18th.
there are usually some who arrive earlier and/or leave later too.

So, are there any GG folks heading out for this ride? I was planning on heading up and I can suggest other riding for folks coming out earlier or later outside of the Gunnison area to show off the diversity of Colorado. I was also hoping to see some new bikes as Clay promised!!!

Man I wish I lived closer to Colorado. That looks like some sweet single track! Rode some neat single track in New Mexico at a NOHVCC conference a few years ago. But Colorado looks like the Holly grail of single track.

I apologize for not getting back to everyone on this. I decided to skip the Force Ride mainly due to cost and the fact that my buddy Rod Overstreet, who was going out to help me, anded a job with Husqvarna. He was hired as the RSM for the southeast.
We've had to watch overhead, including travel expenses, lately due to a really weak dollar.

Good news for Rod though......

If you need any help on these demo rides I'll gladly volunteer and even share travel expenses if I get to ride some. I picked up a 2011ec250 e-start last month and I'd love to get it out on some new trails. - Ken

All, FYI: Colorado high country just got 6 inches of snow last night and more is expected today with the arrival of a cold front. I guess it was not too terrible that this ride was cancelled!!!!
