Graphed head & cylinder mods - a good read.

Why 1.3 gasket stack ? wherd that put you at bdc? What did you clean up ? You didnt raise the exhaust port at all? Did you do an actual baseline dyno test or all computer figuring?

if you stack up base gaskets, you automatically raise the exhaust.
in this case you'd have to do head mod to adjust the squish.
 
I may be corrected as im not actually doing the work, but gasket stack to have ports line up at BDC.
1.6 machined squish on the head, as stock measured at 2.6mm:eek:

No dyno runs but he has measured every volume / diameteer port angle etc etc and got those results through his new software. (dont know what its called)

That was the deal he'd rebuild my bike for me, so he could measure up a Gasser for his software data base. With the numbers crunched we decided to mod the head while it was down.

Dave loves tinkering with engine dynamics/porting, which this program allows him to model porting changes and show virtual results, as shown on the graphs

Have a read of the DBW thread which he's on and it might clear a few things up.
