On Thursday the 18th Greece is going to find out if it will survive financially . The powerful Eurozone finance ministers meet and then the governments meet the 25th . Why should we care ? Because the next weakest economy is Spain and after riding my new GasGas I for one really want the company to get it together and start making new machines ! There are some real problems in some of the economical systems in Europe . 25 % of the people in Spain are unemployed in the USA it is around 5% . So I think they should get back to work in Spain making the best Enduro and trials going .I plan on doing my part by buying Gasgas Bikes !

'Officially' the US unemployment rate is around 5-6% or so. In reality its about 15% plus.

Ok so you buy Greece now what are you getting for that $337,718,500,000 euro debt mess ? That is what the leaders of the countries in Europe are asking ? It goes up $1200. euros a second !

My dear friends, Greece is down since 2009 when IMF and EU decided what are "the right actions" for the numbers, but who gives a d@mn for the people...
Anyway we are still alive and despite the situations we try to ride our beloved Gasers as much as we can. Now if after a week there is no fuel any more, we will put some alcohol in the tanks and go riding again ;-)

I have a few good customers that are Greek and they are worried about the future there as we should all be ! I hope your new leadership can make things better . Keep riding !

I just checked out the tour group Wow nice were would you fly into ? Your pricing is really very reasonable .

You can't have 5 percent unemployment with nearly 100 million Americans out of the workforce. They aren't even good liars, but people believe the propaganda.

I think your 100 million might be a little inflated. Lol. That would be a 34% unemployment rate considering there is only 318 million people in America. If there were that many people unemployed our country would have completely collapsed long ago. While I believe 5% is a little low your 100 million is completely absurd.

And not to start a political war but why do we have any unemployed people? There are thousands upon thousands of companies hiring in the U.S. Oh I know why! People are lazy and they feel entitled to something. A $10/hour job is beneath them, especially when they can sit at home and make more than that by holding their hand out.

Unemployment is calculated based on the number of people working as a percentage of the available labor pool. The official unemployment rate is much lower than seems realistic because the "labor participation rate" is at historic lows, that being the number of people in the workforce (or looking for work) relative to the population.

Hundreds of thousands of "newly disabled" means that they remove themselves from the labor pool and the subsequent math.

This is true but 100 million is still an outlandish number. That is 1/3 of the total population of the U.S. Including children, elderly, and disabled. Which would mean 100 million would be well over half the able bodied adults in the U.S. I was just trying to say that someone shouldn't be throwing outlandish unemployment numbers around that are nowhere near correct.
