HD sports cameras

Anyone have any hands on experience with this brand? Im looking to replace my gopro that only lasted 2 seasons. The gopro works as long as you dont move it. If it moves or gets jostled it freezes. Not much use for it that way! The Isaw brand looks to be of better quality and comes with more features then the gopro for less or about the same price. The reviews say the pictures is brighter and the slo-mo feature is better then gopro.

Interesting......Looks good I sent for info as a dealer to see what I can find out. GoPro is good stuff but I see some features here that rival GP. I'm not a GP dealer as the initial buy requirement keeps out of their products, steep for a one man 'mom & pop' shop. Keep me posted as I'm curious. I sell the Liquid Image stuff already with no complaints but no raging reviews either

Mine does the same thing and it's infuriating!
Mine is a Hero2 and has pretty much done this since the beginning of it's use. Is yours the same model or a 3?

I am also interested in this alternative and hope that somebody has some experience w/ it. I like that it has a built in LCD unlike the GoPro that has to be purchased as an addition for more $. Also the smartphone app feature sounds cool.

I have the hero2 and hero3 black you guys need to update your go pro's via their website as my hero2 did this and the update fixed it.

You guys should check out the Contour Roam 2, www.contour.com I've had one for going on 2 years, super solid camera, great quality, easy to use and probably the best for mounting to a helmet because of it's low profile design unlike the gopro which sticks up to snag on everything.

I have the pre-Roam Contour. Not bad, but it has been eclipsed by the competition. Contour is virtually out of biz.

Roam2 here. Low profile. Use under visor. Good quality. Was out of business. Recently bought and looks positive. Sound familiar? Latest gopro quality is better. But, I ripped those things off by the 3rd turn. Btw, not one single hiccup with the roam2.

I have my GP Hero3 mounted under my visor and it works great there. I just plastic epoxy for the mount and it has taken some abuse. It is not in your line of vision at all even though you would think it would be

id like to see a pic of this! ! iv thought about that before

I'll second the sony action cams. I've had the as-15 for a little over a year and it's been great. The as-100 fixes the main flaw I have with them and that is a feature to mount it sideways, which would make it perfect for under a visor.

it's tough to compare this cams thru youtube, but, choose highest HD option and see what I archived with Sony HDR15AS. (My bad skills isn't related with the cam)

You can use your cell phone to control the cam and see what is beeing recorded. :)
The features looks similar to last models from GoPro.

Mine is relatively new but they have 2 new models after I bought it. This market is dominated by few "small" companies. I think that Sony want to change this...

Check out the latest Sony which has a wrist mounted lcd and controller. I have not had a chance to use one yet but it looks pretty good.

My visor mount

Here is mine, from the front & side + the pieces I used

Thanks Fred, because I forgot all about taking pics last night of mine. I epoxied my mount but it looks very similar on the helmet. I used that plastic putty epoxy in the tube that is very similar to the steel repair putty. It has been holding great since last year.
