help which 2011 would be my best choice

Agreed
The Suspension alone outways billet hubs.

The point is all that stuff comes as a package...and IMO I would vote for Cervantes or nambo replica bikes as a non-current discounted purchase ,over a new model year bike.
Remember sticker price for the replicas was like 11 grand here in North America.and while the 6 days is a nice piece, park it beside the 2 replicas and the whole package shines over the less optioned 6 days.
Not sure of who makes the adjustable triples Jacobi, but they have alternate offset inserts to change the steering angle. That way one can run it steep for technical races or stretch it out for the higher speed stuff the gasgas bikes get nervous on.

WOW,I Almost went nutty over this buy, I didnt have this much trouble picking out my 2013:D. After reading through everyones replies it seems to me that the facts for sure lean to buy the Cervantas Model, and for good reason, it really does come with a lot of top of the line stuff, just the forks if bought new, I think would be around $2k:eek: if I wanted to upgrade the ones on the SixDays. Thanks to everyone for the all the information. I did have a deposit down on the SixDays, I hope that shop will not be to mad at me, FOR SURE MY BAD:o. I'll post how well I like the Cervantas when it gets here and do a compare with my 2013.
Thanks,Steve.

Nice choice Steve.

For example you'd have to change the forks and triple clamps. 2G. Plus the ttx shock is another $1200-$1500. $200 for the S3 head. Plus other bling mentioned! You'll love the Cervo, and if you want to upgrade to the extra 50cc's it can be done for around $600 with new parts.

As far as I know, the triple clamps are made by Robby Moto Engineering.

The only real advantages the Cervantez/Nambo offered above the race model was the TTX shock, and S3 head, although those who have owned Nambos also reported that the engine has always felt stronger too.

A friend of mine have a 2011 Nambo (for sale, he's bought a Beta 300). When he rebuilt the engine, he found that the engine castings was deburred / better matched to each other at the intake than a "normal" 300 engine. I think this is the reason for it feeling stronger, that they actually did som extra work at the assembly line.

That would explain it too. I've noticed theres some serious room for improvement port matching the transfers on the case to the cylinder too. I should have done it last rebuild.

Doing exactly that right now on a 1999. In some areas I had around a quarter of an inch to remove to get matched really close... PIA but I know it will be worth it when all said and done. I hope. Lol

Wheelieman

Came very close to buying the replica myself, but like Anders' friend, opted for the new Beta. I guess I'll never know how good it could have been, but was ready for a change...

Nambotin 2011

I have a 2011 Nambotin great bike I have ordered Beta 300 race I will do a comparison. The Nambo has a much stronger motor than the regular 300's

Let me know what you think as I'm going this route as well coming off a 10 nambotin. I'm curious to here what you have to say about the beta!
