Bike is pretty much ready for the season. Today I Added my number plate back grounds and wheel saver decals, LTR valved suspension, YZ 250 carb needle, and a homemade brake pedal snake.
Gonna run the stock Metzlers up until the first race or I can't take em anymore. Then I will throw on my Michelin's and add the rim locks I have siting on the shelf. My first air filter change I will add my Twin air cage I robbed from my 08.
I'll order my MX plate and bracket set tomorrow so I'm set for scrambles and have the head light shell for the night riding. Last purchase will be a Shorai battery. Still in limbo on a steering damper and Rekluse. Here are some pics I took of my bike today. Such a fun hobby this sport. :)

Looks ready for battle. I was wondering if the 11 tires were any better than the slicks that came on the 10's. Go get um!

Good lord that thing is pretty. GIve me a couple more monthes and I'll have some new selections to scratch that plastic up, maybe even tweak the subframe if we are lucky!

Ha Ha thanks all! I like the way it's come together.
The number plate background numbers didn't quite match up perfect between the air box and number plate. But I've had that issue in the past with split numbers. That was as close as I could get them.

John I've heard mixed reviews on the eco Metzler's. My buddy has used them for 6 days and thought they were actually not bad, we'll see.

Paul just let me know when. By then it should have it's share of battle scars, and be broke in for the gnarl.

This weekend I will finally go get it dirty, speaking of snow our forecast is flirting with it here through Thursday. But next weekend looks perfect.

Wow, what a beautiful bike Roscoe! Really like the colors. Like the black and yellow Cycra's too. Well done.
Do U plan on keeping your '08? I didn't realize GG went with Metzler's. Any tire has got to be better than the Comp 3's that came on my '05.

Hey Bob, been back and forth in my mind with keeping or selling my 2008.

Part of me wants to keep it as a practice\ backup bike. Cause it is in such good condition with alot of new parts just installed, and the spares I have for it, plus its paid for. That's the rich side of me talking.

The poor side of me says, sell it you need the cash dummy. So I guess what I'm telling myself is if the right buyer for the right price wants it, it's for sale.

I haven't advertised it for sale though, we'll see.

Roscoe: That is a sweet looking motorcycle - now go get it dirty (and we'll all be really jealous).

What YZ needle did you install - a JD or a factory part? Were you trying to address a certain issue or is this a preemptive strike?

It would not matter.
Roscoe could ride the worst mud fest you have ever seen and by the following weekend his bike looks like it rolled off the showroom.:p

I would buy any used GG Roscoe owned because of the way he takes care of them, and enhances 'em.
