Nor I...:D I friend that skis lots found them I asked if he bought a pair but has not got back to me.

No doubt they're expensive if they don't list a price on their site.:D

No more ripping your GoPro off in the bush. Maybe someone else has seen them.

Very cool! Never seen em. But I want some.

Just sold my helmet cam, looking for something a bit more user friendly. These certainly would fit the bill.

Thanks for posting.

Camera

I've been waiting for something with an integrated camera- I was thinking a helmet would be first. Goggles work, too!

i know liquid image's bread and butter is scubba masks and they range from 250 to 300 with the integrated camera. pretty pricey!!

Not so much so when you consider a helmet cam is anywhere from $150 to 300 and goggles are another 50 or 60 bucks.

I think its a great inovation. The only thing that I wonder about is, would the helmet visor be in the way?

This video explains the product a little better....

I guess it depends on how your equipment usually holds up, I buy a new set of goggles every year cause the frames get beat up over summer and winter. For me that's extremely pricey were as the go pro you just swap over to a new set of googles. What do you do with the googles if the frame gets trashed? Throw them away? It's a cool idea but like I said pricey if your hard on equipment!

It says they weigh .54lbs which will probably become annoying after a while. Also the camera will probably mostly record the image of underside of the peak?

If you look around the website there is a picture of a rider with a helmet wearing them but its very much a selected shot from below the eyeline. If you are constanly dipping your head to dodge mud and stuff on you goggles there wont be much usable video.

These look like a great idea to me. After losing my helmet cam off the side of my helmet in it's first season, I think this would be way better. That's assuming there's no interference from the helmet visor, and the price isn't ridiculous.

I mostly enjoyed the pun - "Looking Forward." he he.

:D Not sure anyone would have caught that.

If you have used a helmet cam before you know how crucial getting the lens pointing forward just right is. Maybe a bit less on the GoPro because of the 'wide angle lens' but still you could be videoing ground or sky very easily.
I find mine kinda has to be facing down just a bit. If these goggle don't have some sort of adjustment that also could be a factor.

well after not being to fond of this idea i saw a video from the CES show in vegas on the new impact series goggles which are designed for mx. the video quality looks really good and the line of sight looks good as well so ill be the guinea pig guys, i bought them today should get them in about a week!
