Luckey Me !!!

I Started out looking at Rynos 05 MC 250. Ryno lives in NewHamshire and I live in Richland Washington. That was gonna be a tough deal to work !!

...and then...

I found an 04 MC 250 just 240 miles away from me. the price was right, so I got it !!

I already have an 05 Ec 250 (that is about to be upgraded to a 300), and now I have an 04 MC to round out my barn full of Gassers. The cool thing is that the Mc has the same type of 250cc cylinder (both A types) as my Ec, so I can still use the top end rebuild kit I bought before the 300 upgrade. This Mc looks completely new and bare bones stock. I can also do a squish-band measurement on the Mc to see if it can use my already milled head from the (formerly) 250cc Ec.

 :D FrankenDaves motorcycle!!! ITS ALIVE !!! ITS ALIVE!!:D

I have five bikes in a single car garage! This plus other stuff.

The Harley is going ASAP. I'd really like to get a nice 125 at a good price and upgrade it to the '07+ tail.

Garage Challenge

I sense a garage challenge. This fits into a 2.5 car garage:

2 cars, one 3-place motorcycle trailer (hangs above second car using boat winch and block/tackle), 4 streetbikes, 3 dirtbikes, 2 snow throwers, radial arm saw, Tig/Stick welder, "awesome set of tools" (sweet three-box stack, full), 9 bicycles (including tandem), chainsaw, 2 weedwackers, two (non-motorized) reel mowers, picnic table (hangs above other car hood when it's winter), two 2-cycle Toro engines (one snowblower and one lawn mower), and some other gardening junk (the missus').

My garage is my happy place.

Garage challenge ?!? Ok

1999 Honda CR 250
2005 GG EC 250 (300)
2004 GG MC 250
2007 Harley Nightster 1200N
2002 Mustang (Mach 1 clone)
2002 FFR Replica 1956 Shelby Daytona Coupe
2006 Kawasaki Ninja 250 (Wrecked by my favorite Teenager)

I got the MC from Taskeys in Everett. I hope its not a four speed:mad: I looked up the spech sheet and it said it was a six speed.

Both of the rims are bent on that MC. Whats the crossover brand for rims ?

How big's tjhe garage?

That's quite a collection! I can't compete on quality, but i might compete on density (which was my implied, but unclear intent). How large is the garage in which that stuff resides?

I have to work today, and I am bored. Can you tell?

You might want to trash the 19 inch rear hoop in favour of an 18 incher. I had Jeff Roberto at East Coast Wheel in N.J. Mount a 18 inch excel for a katoom, he however did NOT use o.e. gasgas spokes for the job. In short I was very happy with his work and service and would highly recomend him.

one 3-place motorcycle trailer (hangs above second car using boat winch and block/tackle)...
picnic table (hangs above other car hood when it's winter)...

This would be an interesting sight to see. Do you have a pic?

Pics

I'll post a picture tomorrow. It's a pretty sweet rig (the trailer deal is, anyway).

Wheels & garage

I was thinking of buying some wheels by mail order. I think it already has an 18" excell on the rear. I would just count the spokes and order the rims. I am fairly confident I can re-spoke it myself and then have my local shop do the truing.

I called the local shop and they will want approx 150.00 for each rim and then about 120.00 in labor for each rim. ( 270 X 2 = 520 ) and I havent even added tax at 8.6% in yet. I bet shipping to LTR would be costly too.

My garage is 28' by 28'.

Pictures

I tried to upload 5 pictures yesterday. my photo profile says that 5 are in the queue, but that's been that way for 12 hours. might be something wrong with the photo section of the web site.

I'll keep trying.
