I'm very grateful that that was the only damage sustained after looking at the other thread. Ouch! Whats most frustrating is that things like this occur after the bike has been in the shop. Thats the driving factor for me in learning how to do my own work. Its people like you Glenn who are willing to share your years of GG knowledge that makes this place so helpful. Its really appreciated.

YES!!!! thats my driving force behind it also!! I had someone else adjust carb float level...not only did i end up redoing it myself, i ended up chasing my tail with a broken choke for a month, that i know for a fact i didnt break....Bottom line i havent found a better place with more knowledge about bikes in general than the people this website. Thanks to Glenn and jake and a few other knowledable folks i have a much better understanding of my motorcycles...
